Security and AI controls at JurisBuild

Customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Documents, messages, faxes, and case data are stored in access-controlled, encrypted systems.

Access follows firm and user permissions, with multi-factor authentication available as an additional sign-in safeguard. Firms can assign different permissions to different users based on their responsibilities.

Each firm’s data is isolated at the database layer. Database policies and firm-scoped storage controls enforce separation between customer workspaces.

Relevant system activity is logged, including Scribe drafts, recommendations, and user approvals. That history supports review of what Scribe prepared and what authorized users decided to do next.

Client data is not used to train shared models. Scribe drafts, summarizes, researches, and flags; it does not send documents or messages, file with a court, or contact third parties on its own. Authorized members of your firm review and approve the work.

JurisBuild runs on cloud infrastructure with continuous monitoring, automated backups, and point-in-time recovery controls.

Authorized users can access their firm’s information throughout the relationship. Firm data can be exported in standard formats, including if the firm decides to leave JurisBuild.

A firm’s HIPAA obligations depend on its clients, relationships, and use of protected health information. JurisBuild supports appropriate safeguards for sensitive medical information, and Business Associate Agreements are available where the firm’s use of the platform requires one. Firms should assess their specific obligations with their privacy or compliance counsel.
